Weekend homework....

In the lectura book (the blue one) , do ex. E on apge 236.

I made a Pinterest board called "Anuncios EEUU" with about 70 pins of ads and models from US clothing companies.  Use that to do the first part of the exercise.

The second part asks you to look for images online from Spanish-speaking magazines.  Check out Pinterest boards as well!

Start with some of these--

Vanidades (Puerto Rico)
Diez Minutos.es (Spain)

Also, check out designers and clothing ads--
Zara
Mango
People en espanol
El Corte Ingles
Macy's
Sears (has a Spanish site)

La percepción de la belleza

For the CNN article ¿En qué basas tu percepción de la belleza? , answer these two questions in your notebook:

Then, scroll down and watch the cortometraje "Por eso no tienes novio".  You may need to watch it more than once to catch all of the monologue.
¿Cómo es tu reacción al final?

La Belleza Real

¡Un erizo feliz!

Scroll down past all of the "Frozen" videos and watch the clip from Dove.
What is the point of the anuncio?  What is the connection to the article from CNN en español?

Here is the link to the article you are supposed to read tonight for homework.  Keep track of new vocabulary and write a 50 word summary.  How would you answer the question posed in the title of the article?  Be ready to discuss in class tomorrow.
